Experimenting & playing with graphic shapes, soft textures, light and space is what Rutger likes most. All his digital trips create a surreal and playful universe of thier own which are translated to the physical world by screen printing them. The results also end up in the analog & digital world as sculptures, illustrations, styleframes, ad campaigns & animations.

He also works closely with Much Amsterdam as a consultant & agent on creative advertising projects, collaborating with an ass kicking network of illustrators, CGI artists & motion designers.
